Weather (curses)

Yup... the garage sale was a dud. The weather just didn't cooperate. We "opened" and the exersaucer and swing immediately went out the door. Some of the girl clothes... and then rain. Thunder and rain!!! For 2 hours! So we decided to just call it a day and pick up again next week Saturday. So anti-climactic.

Looking forward to catching up at the store next week. Lots to price. Working on a sign too.

So... I completed last weeks POW, but today... does that count? Need to take a pic yet.
Not sure what this week's will be... maybe the sign? Mmmm... nope... the trenching for the internet cable! (Even that has nothing to do with me).

Did this one recently. Love the new Making Memories Velvet stickers! Used the MOD star die-cut paper as a template and cut my own star out of Chatterbox. Love just layering on stuff. Wish I'd get more confident with that.

Love mixing the date stamp with my handwriting too! I'm going to have to remember to do that more often.

paper - Chatterbox
stickers and tags - Making Memories
brads - Doodlebug
stamp - Provo
ink - Ranger
index tab - Heidi Swapp
staples

Oh, and total side note...
SOUL PATROL, SOUL PATROL, SOUL PATROL, SOUL PATROL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So happy Taylor won American Idol! Can't wait to see what's all coming his way!

The Windy City

Okay... hold on to your hats! Terribly windy here today! A great day to get some stuff done inside (can't go to the store since I'm waiting patiently for the internet guy to get here).

- price more garage sale stuff (I'm loving the idea of an organized house!!) I'm hoping to go through my studio and purging some stuff here too, but I don't think I'll get that far! How much do you ask for a playpen, high chair, exersaucer, etc.???
- dishes
- laundry
- clean
- scrap (I wish)

Got my last week's POW done... but no pics. I'll get to that once the high speed's up and running. So my POW for this week is to hang pictures on my living room wall.

Got some KI Memories in the store... Organized, Hopeful and Extreme. LOVE it!!!! Lots more in the back... waiting to get out. I'll do as much as I can tomorrow!

And a belated pic from Super Scrap Day in April! (Leigh I'll get one to you yet!)

The June Father's day class is up... sign up now. Kits will be available after class so you can complete one on your own time if you can't make it!

Oh... kids crying... gotta go!

Be sure to check out the mid-month challenge, theme layouts, and monthly sketch. The monthly project will be up shortly.

Downloading my first Podcast now... with dial-up it takes forever! Maybe some Audiobooks next?

I'll be drawing the names for the April RAKs and the online crop RAKs tomorrow.
Next online crop will be Friday, May 26th (8-11pm CST) and then all day Saturday, May 27th.
TV night here!
- American Idol. Soul Patrol!!!!!! Go Taylor Hicks!
- America's Next Top Model. Jade saying she's not arrogant... made me laugh! How many times did she say Joanie wasn't on her level?
- Amazing Race
- Lost. Henry's mission was John? Michael shooting AnnaLucia and Libby? Going into the locked room and NOT shooting Henry (he pointed the gun to the side)? Working for the Others? Love this show!
Went grocery shopping! I hate grocery shopping with kids! Touching everything! I'm sure everyone is listening to every word I say to them... "get off the marshmallows (in the shelf!)", "come here", "we're not looking at toys today" "take turns", "don't squish the bread", "don't drop the Coke (and then he does)"... But it's done. And hopefully we have at least a week and a half before we have to do it again!
Met my Mom for a quick "lunch" at Tim Horton's today! Haven't seen her in over a week! Miss her.
To do:
- laundry!
- price for garage sale
- store (paper) newsletter

iTunes, shmy-tunes

Working hard on fixing my iTunes... thank goodness for the discussion board at Apple!!! I'm leaving those windows open till something works. Hopefully I'll get to use it again real soon!

Happy belated birthday Val!!

Shoppe Talk newsletter and the May kits will go out tomorrow at the earliest. They're mostly ready to go... just need to take a pic of it and confirm the May Quick Crop date.

Can't remember if I posted the Mother's Day Wall Hanging for the Tuesday, May 9th class or not...

Perfect for Mom... or you! Tuesday, May 9th ~ 7pm $12 ($10 for Members)

I've got a location for Ali's visit... Friday, December 1st (crop) and Saturday, December 2nd (classes). A couple more details to iron out... snacks? cost? etc... Opinions greatly appreciated.
